Journey Together came out on 28 March 2025 and it is the set of the trainers' Pokémon: Lillie, N, Hop, Iono and Brock each get their own creature with their name printed on it. A year and a half on it is also, on the numbers, the cheapest set to complete in the whole Scarlet and Violet block.
The card at the top is Lillie's Clefairy ex (#184), worth 73.64 €. For scale: in the same block, Destined Rivals' Team Rocket Mewtwo is worth 629.
We ran every card in the set through the DarkDex pricing engine and sorted by value. These are real single-card prices, Near Mint, the lowest available across sellers, updated on 21 August 2026. Graded copies are excluded: a slabbed card follows a separate market.
In short. Journey Together completes for around 362 €, less than any other set in the block. Leading, Lillie's Clefairy ex (#184) at 73.64 €, then N's Zoroark ex (#185) at 50.64 € and Salamence ex (#187) at 49.28 €. Below the tenth card nothing clears 5 €. Prices as of 21 August 2026.
The ranking: the 10 most expensive cards
Ten rows is enough, and the numbers say why: the tenth card is worth 9.29 €, the twentieth 1.13 €. Below tenth place a most-expensive ranking stops answering the question.
These are the cards people buy boxes for. Add them to your collection on DarkDex and track their value day by day, without redoing the maths every time the market moves.
Which is the rarest card in Journey Together?
The rarest card in Journey Together is Spiky Energy (#190), the last numbered card in the set, a gold Hyper Rare. It is worth 4.10 €.
The most expensive is Lillie's Clefairy ex Special Illustration Rare (#184) at 73.64 €, eighteen times as much. It is the same pattern as the rest of the block: declared rarity tells you how hard a card is to find, price tells you how many people want it.
Pull rates are not published, so there is no official answer, and price remains the only measurable indicator.
The chase cards of Journey Together
There are three chase cards, and they sit very close together:
- Lillie's Clefairy ex (#184), Special Illustration Rare: 73.64 €
- N's Zoroark ex (#185), Special Illustration Rare: 50.64 €
- Salamence ex (#187), Special Illustration Rare: 49.28 €
Between second and third there is barely a euro. This is a set without a dominant card: the top three together are 48% of the total, the most balanced distribution in the block after Paradox Rift.
Add them to your collection on DarkDex and follow the value day by day.
The versions of Lillie's Clefairy ex
Lillie's Clefairy exists in three prints inside the same set:
- Double Rare (#056): 0.60 €, the one that comes out of ordinary packs
- Ultra Rare full art (#173): 3.10 €
- Special Illustration Rare (#184): 73.64 €, the most expensive in the set
From first to last there are 123 times the difference. Value does not live in the creature, it lives in the print, which is why DarkDex keeps the price of every single variant separate instead of lumping them under one name: a binder with three Clefairy ex in it can be worth two euros or seventy-five, and the difference is the number in the bottom corner.
N's Zoroark ex goes further with four prints, from 0.19 € to 50.64 €, which is 266 times.
Why Journey Together costs so little
Two reasons, both verifiable in the table.
The first is print run: it was printed heavily, and sealed product is still everywhere. The Booster Box costs 152.64 € with nearly forty sellers listing it, a number that says "stock" better than any announcement.
The second is the tail: 166 cards out of 190, 87% of the set, sit below one euro. That is the highest proportion in the whole block. A set with a tail that poor completes for very little, because the cards nobody wants cost eleven cents each.
How much it costs to complete Journey Together
Buying every card in the set at the lowest Near Mint listing, one by one, takes around 362 €:
- the top three cards cost 174 €, which is 48% of the total
- the top ten reach 307 €, or 85%
- the median card is 0.11 €
- 166 cards out of 190, 87% of the set, sit below one euro
Translated: without the top ten cards the set costs about 55 €. That is the lowest figure in the whole Scarlet and Violet block, and it makes Journey Together the right set to start from if you want to try completing one end to end.
Worth saying that this is a theoretical floor: minimums from different sellers, shipping excluded, counting only the 190 cards that have at least one listing.
Where Journey Together sits in the Scarlet and Violet block
We ran eight sets of the Scarlet and Violet block through the pricing engine, so the comparison can be made on numbers rather than impressions:
| set | release | cards | most expensive | to complete |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paldea Evolved | Jun 2023 | 285 | 189.63 € | 671 € |
| Paradox Rift | Nov 2023 | 266 | 61.54 € | 550 € |
| Twilight Masquerade | May 2024 | 226 | 250.63 € | 677 € |
| Surging Sparks | Nov 2024 | 252 | 250.64 € | 864 € |
| Journey Together | Mar 2025 | 190 | 73.64 € | 362 € |
| Destined Rivals | May 2025 | 244 | 629.64 € | 1,755 € |
| White Flare | Jul 2025 | 173 | 300.64 € | 1,613 € |
| Black Bolt | Jul 2025 | 171 | 290.00 € | 1,678 € |
The "cards" column counts the cards in the set with at least one Near Mint listing, not the number printed on the back of the pack.
Journey Together is the cheapest of the group, and by a distance: a fifth of Destined Rivals, which came out barely two months later. Two consecutive sets, the same distance from launch, and a gap of nearly 1,400 €. The variable is not age: it is who is printed on the cards.
Singles or packs?
On Journey Together the maths is unusual: 152.64 € for a Booster Box against 362 € for the whole set in singles. For the price of two and a half boxes you buy the entire set, chase cards included, with the certainty of owning it. It is one of the rare occasions where the comparison gets close, and it still favours singles.
The Elite Trainer Box at 60.64 € is the cheapest way in if the point is opening something rather than completing.
Heads up. Card prices move constantly, and chase cards are the most volatile of all: the numbers in this article are a snapshot of the market on 21 August 2026.
How to keep an eye on the value
On DarkDex you add your Journey Together cards to your collection and the market value updates itself, with price history and your portfolio total always in view. It works with any language and any condition, not just English cards.
The same ranking exists for the other sets in the block: Destined Rivals (the priciest of the group), Surging Sparks, Twilight Masquerade, White Flare, Black Bolt, Paradox Rift and Paldea Evolved.
