The Pokémon Trading Card Game has its first Valentine's Day product. It's called the Pokémon TCG: Valentine's Box, and the packaging was revealed on 29 October 2026 together with its contents and price. The cover shows Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Sylveon inside a big heart, on a box designed like an envelope.

Here's everything we know today: release date, price, contents, and what hasn't been announced yet, starting with the cards themselves.

In short. The Valentine's Box releases on 15 January 2027 in the US at $14.99. It contains 20 Collect & Share booster packs with 3 cards each (60 cards in total), 2 sheets of To/From labels, 3 sticker sheets and a box that becomes a mailbox. The cards haven't been shown yet, and there's no European release date so far.

Valentine's Box release date

Friday, 15 January 2027, in the United States. That's the date on The Pokémon Company's product listing, exactly one month before Valentine's Day.

The first report, back in early October, said 27 January: the official reveal moved it 12 days earlier. For now the announcement only covers the US market. There's no date yet for Europe or the UK; we'll update this page as soon as there's an official word.

Valentine's Box price

The US MSRP is $14.99. That's cheap for 20 packs, and it's on purpose: the box isn't aimed at people opening packs to chase a big hit, but at people who want to give cards away, at school or among friends, the same way Valentine's cards are swapped in the US.

What's inside the Valentine's Box

The official contents are:

  • 20 Collect & Share booster packs with 3 cards each (the box says "20 3-card booster packs"), so 60 cards in total;
  • 2 sheets of To/From label stickers, one label per pack;
  • 3 sheets of stickers to decorate the box;
  • the inner box, which turns into a mailbox for receiving valentines.

The idea is simple: every pack becomes a small gift with the sender's and the receiver's names on it, and the box stays as a mailbox for the ones you get back.

Which cards are in the Valentine's Box

They haven't been revealed yet. The Pokémon Company showed the packaging but not the card list, so we don't know which Pokémon will appear or whether any cards will be new.

The closest reference is Trick or Trade, the three-card packs made for Halloween: those are reprints of existing cards with a themed special stamp. The Valentine's Box will likely follow the same pattern, with love and sweets themed Pokémon, but until the list is out that's a guess.

Is it worth it for collectors?

It depends on what's inside. If the cards are reprints with a dedicated stamp, as with Trick or Trade, the value will sit in the stamp: they're printed for a short window and a specific occasion, and that's the kind of variant collectors tend to look for over time.
