Delta Reign releases on Friday 6 November 2026 and is the sixth set of the Mega Evolution block, with Mega Rayquaza ex on the cover. It is the western version of the Japanese set Storm Emeralda, which has been on sale in Japan since 31 July: unlike 30th Celebration, the prices of these cards already exist somewhere and can be looked at.

In short. Delta Reign releases on 6 November 2026, with prerelease events from 24 October to 1 November and the Build & Battle Box arriving later, on 20 November. The set holds more than 135 cards, four Mega Pokémon ex and the Legendary Stadiums that play as two halves. The Elite Trainer Box holds nine packs and the full-art Kyogre promo; its suggested price has not been announced yet. The cards, though, can already be estimated: in the Japanese twin the same Mega Rayquaza ex exists in four prints running from 5.00 € to 864.00 €.
When does Delta Reign release?
Friday 6 November 2026, across Europe and North America. Three dates matter:
- 24 October to 1 November: the prerelease events in stores, where the set is played before it goes on sale
- 6 November: official release of the set, packs, Elite Trainer Box, blisters and bundles
- 20 November: the Build & Battle Box, two weeks after the rest
The set is called Delta Reign in English and Dominio Delta in Italian, which is worth knowing if you shop across borders: the two names never meet in the same search.
What is in Delta Reign
More than 135 cards, of which over 20 are Trainers and more than 35 carry special artwork. In the announced detail: 14 illustration rares, 17 ultra rares across Pokémon and Trainers, and 6 special illustration rares.
The four Mega Pokémon ex are the heart of the set:
The images are from the Japanese edition, the only one that exists so far, and the numbers are the Japanese ones: they will change in the western edition, because Delta Reign is not a copy of Storm Emeralda. The Japanese set has 113 cards, the western one declares more than 135, so there is more in there.
The structural novelty is the Legendary Stadiums: each Stadium card is printed across two different collector numbers, the artwork continues from one half to the other, and to use it you have to play both together. It is an idea the game has not used since the LEGEND cards.

And on 20 November the Build & Battle Box Display, holding a ready-to-play 40-card deck plus 4 packs.
The Elite Trainer Box promo is the main reason to buy that product rather than packs alone: it is a full-art Kyogre that comes out nowhere else.
What the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box costs
The suggested price for Delta Reign products has not been announced yet, and until it is, that is the only figure worth waiting for: what shops ask in preorder months before release is not a price, it is a request, and it changes week to week.
What is known already is what is inside, which is the part that lets you compare it: nine packs, the full-art Kyogre promo, 65 sleeves, 40 Energy cards, the dice, the coin and the box with six dividers.
As a reference point, the Elite Trainer Box of 30th Celebration, which releases on 16 September with the same pack count, has an MSRP of $49.99. That is a celebration set rather than a block set, so it is not a prediction: it is the closest thing with a published price today.
Is it worth preordering Delta Reign or waiting?
The rule that holds for any block set is that the cheapest moment is not release day, it is the weeks just after: when shops are full and supply is high, prices settle back towards MSRP and often below. Pitch Black, out since 17 July, is in that phase now and is available everywhere.
Preordering does something else: it secures the product. That is worth it if you want something at risk of selling out, such as the products with an exclusive promo, or if you need it on release day for the prerelease. It is not a way to pay less.
The exception is celebration sets with a limited print run, where the low point may never arrive: that is the situation of 30th Celebration, not of Delta Reign, which is a normally printed block set.
What are Delta Reign cards worth?
This is the advantage Delta Reign has and 30th Celebration does not: the Japanese twin set has been on sale since 31 July, so there is already a market to look at. The cards will not be identical and the collector numbers will change, but the Pokémon are the same and so are the rarities.

How to be ready on 6 November
The most useful thing to do between now and November is to decide which cards you actually want, because the Japanese set already tells you which ones will be expensive. Waiting until release day to find out means finding out at the worst possible moment.
