Aura Seeker (ハドウシーカー in Japanese) is the new Japanese set of the Mega Evolution block and it releases on Friday 27 November 2026. Mega Lucario Z ex is on the cover, and it brings the news everyone was waiting for: the first Z Mega Evolutions in the card game.
The official announcement came on 23 October, together with the first cards. Here is everything known today: release date, pack price, card count, the revealed cards and when they reach the West.
In short. Aura Seeker releases in Japan on 27 November 2026, in 5-card packs at 200 yen. The main set has 78 cards, plus the secret rares (an estimated 35 to 40, for about 115 cards in total). Three Mega Z ex have been revealed so far: Lucario, Garchomp and Absol. The same cards are expected in English in the Flowing Fists set, due on 5 February 2027 but not officially announced yet; the Italian name is not known yet.
When does Aura Seeker come out
Friday 27 November 2026, in Japan. The date comes from the official Japanese card game website, which lists the set as expansion M7 of the MEGA block.
In the West, the cards of Aura Seeker are expected to be part of Flowing Fists, the English set due on 5 February 2027. The name and date have been around for a few days, but The Pokémon Company has not officially announced them yet, so treat them as a guide. As usual, the Western set will not be an exact copy of the Japanese one: collector numbers will change and there may be extra cards. The Italian name has not been announced yet: we will add it here as soon as it is out.
How much is an Aura Seeker booster pack
The official Japanese price is 200 yen per pack, tax included, with 5 cards in each pack. It is the same format as the other Japanese MEGA sets.
For now the official website only lists the booster pack: the booster box has no official product page yet. Early reports point to the usual Japanese format, 30 packs per box.
How many cards are in Aura Seeker
The main set has 78 cards. On top of that come the secret rares: estimates put them at 35 to 40, for about 115 cards in total, in line with the other sets of the Mega Evolution block. The exact number will only be known with the full card list, so treat it as an estimate.
The Mega Z ex of Aura Seeker
Z Mega Evolutions come from the Mega Dimension DLC of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Aura Seeker is the first set to bring them to the card game. Three are known so far.
Mega Lucario Z ex is a 330 HP Metal Pokémon, a Stage 1 that evolves from Riolu. It is the face of the set: it is the Pokémon on the pack and on the official website, and it was first shown at Worlds in August together with Riolu and Sigilyph ex. Its Ability lets you search your deck for a Supporter card and put it into your hand.
Mega Garchomp Z ex is a 360 HP Dragon Pokémon, a Stage 2 that evolves from Gabite. It has two attacks:
- Dragon Avenger: 30 damage for each Dragon Pokémon in your discard pile.
- Sonic Edge: 240 damage, not affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon.
Mega Absol Z ex is a 270 HP Basic Psychic Pokémon. Its attack Bloody Fear does 160 damage and, during your opponent's next turn, they can't attach Special Energy from their hand or play Stadium cards.
Like every Mega Evolution ex, when one of these cards is Knocked Out your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.
Every Aura Seeker card revealed so far
Besides the Mega Z ex, more cards were shown with the 23 October announcement. These are the ones we have images for, with their Japanese number.

Add the two cards shown at Worlds: Riolu (Fighting, 80 HP, number 044) and Sigilyph ex (Psychic, 210 HP, number 031), whose Ability blocks damage from attacks of your opponent's Mega Evolution ex. In total, 21 Aura Seeker cards are known today.
Attack and Trainer names are unofficial translations from Japanese: the official English names will come with the Western set.
The cards to watch
Some of the revealed cards have effects that will get people talking.
Pawmot (Lightning, 130 HP) has the Ability Double Strike: it can use an attack twice in a row. If the first attack Knocks Out the opponent's Active Pokémon, the second one hits the new Active Pokémon. Its attack Mach Bolt does 100 damage.
Meloetta (Psychic, 90 HP) with Welcoming Song searches your deck for up to 3 Basic Pokémon and puts them onto your Bench, for a single Colorless Energy.
Korrina's Determination is a Supporter built for Mega Evolutions: during that turn, attacks from your Mega Evolution ex do 20 more damage for each Prize card your opponent has already taken.
Mawile (Metal, 90 HP) with Big Jaw does 30 damage for each card in your opponent's hand, while Revavroom (Metal, 140 HP) with Long Drive does 100 damage to the Active Pokémon and another 100 to a Benched Pokémon, discarding all of its Energy.
Fight Arena is a Stadium: once during each player's turn, that player may heal 20 damage from each of their Pokémon, except those with a Rule Box.
How much will Aura Seeker cards be worth
Today there is no price yet: the cards are not on sale, and what you see before release are pre-orders, not market prices. The real price forms in the first weeks after 27 November, which is also when it moves the most.
The closest reference is the previous version of the same Pokémon: Mega Lucario-ex from the Mega Evolution set, which you can find on DarkDex with its current price and its reprints. It is the yardstick for Mega Lucario Z ex once it arrives.
Before Aura Seeker, the next Western set is Delta Reign, on 6 November.
